Looking back to my childhood holidays in the South of Spain, I can still see myself splashing about in the pool. My dad brings a plate of peaches cut into wedges. I bite into a piece and the sweet juice is running down my chin. The fruity smell blends with that of chlorine, I can feel the heat of the midday sun on my wet hair. I feel free, I just am.
Emotions and sensations like this one are what I aim to spark with my images — creating a connection between the viewer and the food in the frame.
With my unique perspective, I bring authenticity and relatability into my work as a photographer. My view through the lens is colourful, dynamic and honest.
Over the years, I’ve worked with a range of clients as a food photographer as well as a set/food stylist and creative director. I take on complete productions: from concept development and moodboard creation to shoot planning, on-set coordination and post-production. Collaborating with an inspiring network of talented food stylists and creatives allows me to bring each project to life with consistency, creativity and attention to detail.
A few facts about me: I have a background in development studies and politics, which keeps me curious about climate-friendly and sustainable food businesses that value fair production. I’m a self-taught photographer who has developed her skills over the past ten years, constantly learning and experimenting with new techniques. I strongly believe in perpetual growth and creative evolution.
I have a second home in the countryside, just an hour outside Berlin, where I unwind and recharge — it’s also available as a shooting location.
